Environmental crime

A Chinese trader holds up a snow leapoard pelt he is offering to sell for 30 thousand RMB about 3800 USD. The world's highest railway was intended to foster closer economic links between China's capital and Tibet, but it is also proving a fast, safe and cost-effective route for smugglers to transport illegal goods such as endangered animal furs.
