For more than 1000 years Chinese porcelain has been produced in the small town of Jingdezhen, Chinese Emperors once had their imperial kilns here, which produced the teacups they drank from for centuries. Today the tradition of creating ceramics and porcelain as art as well as for practical use survives in the town, which has hundreds of factories and workshops that export their wares all over the world.
